Our procurement services are continually evolving as we strive to generate additional cost savings and improved service levels for our customers.
A new Waste Brokerage Scheme has recently launched through our sister company Outsourced Waste Ltd, enabling us to offer new and improved waste pricing with better controls on pricing, reporting and management information.
As a waste broker, we are able to achieve better pricing directly with suppliers by building a direct portfolio of business that attracts lower pricing than our historical preferred supplier arrangement. Our waste procurement turnover is now well into seven figures, reducing the standard rates with our main supplier (Biffa) by a further 4-5%. Furthermore, the average saving implemented for our waste management customers has been in excess of 20% – and this is an additional cost saving on top of the reduction in rate.
There are two options available with our waste brokerage service – Administration and Full Waste Management. Our customers are not tied into a long-term contract with either option.
Administration Service: We provide administrative support, dealing with any queries and issues with service, bill checking and reviewing all wasted journey charges. This service gives access to our competitive pricing – therefore reducing your costs – but the management of the service remains with the customer.
Full Waste Management Service: In addition to administrative support, we will review the waste weight data to ensure the right service is in place. This service results in the reduction of cost and improvement of environmental and regulatory performance, and we take full responsibility for managing the service.
