AWARD WIN FOR ‘BEST ADVICE’ ON ENERGY COST AND CONSUMPTION REDUCTIONS

We are celebrating an award winning achievement after delivering ‘best advice’ which has netted clients six-figure savings on energy bills.

We manage a wide range of procurement services including energy, telecoms and general overheads on behalf of around 50% of the UK’s top automotive dealer groups and beat off tough competition to secure the ‘Best Advice’ award from The Energy Live Consultancy Awards 2015 (TELCA), ran by Energy Live News.

We secured our win in the ‘Best Advice’ category after submitting details of its energy saving programmes we run on behalf of Trust Ford, Essex Auto Group and Perrys Motor Group.

Commented director Anthony Landau: “We were delighted to win this award as there are some extremely large consultancies which enter. The judging panel are not given the names of the companies and winners are awarded purely on the evidence presented. Our win was judged on the advice we provided and the savings we made for our clients and we are extremely proud of our success.”

He added: “When we first implement our energy programmes, typically cost and consumption reductions are dramatic with some of our dealer groups benefiting from saving six figure sums on gas and electricity expenditure. One dealer group saved £170,000 on their energy bills in 2014 compared to previous years which corresponded to a reduction of almost 3,700 Kwh of energy consumption and a saving of 1 million tonnes of carbon. One of our manufacturer partners has reduced electric and gas usage in its network by 21%, compared to its benchmark position of five years previously. This equates to an annual reduction of just less than 6,000 tonnes of CO2 and a network saving of circa £1,000,000 over the last 12 months.

However, the key is on-going energy management and a programme which is properly monitored and measured with input from the top and buy-in from employees across the group.

In the energy field, we provide utility purchasing, monitoring and energy management services which are designed to deliver lower utility costs, control of expenditure and carbon reduction across a business and groups with multiple sites. Energy savings are made with the installation of smart meters and identifying and tackling areas of high usage as well as negotiating the best utility contracts with energy providers and aligning contracts across all sites. Energy audits and staff training also form part of the service.
