As well as carefully reviewing the cost of the product or service purchased, we also review consumption of those services or products. We ask two simple questions: Is there misuse, abuse or waste that can be eliminated? Is there simply a better/cheaper way to achieve the same result?

Account management

As a Purchase Direct customer, you are allocated a dedicated account manager responsible for delivering your savings. Your account manager undertakes negotiation and oversees the preparation of your contracts, whether purchasing under one of our group contracts or through negotiation with incumbent or other suppliers on your behalf.
Your account manager will go through the following stages to deliver cost saving to your business:
  • Information collection – collation of copy invoices, rates, volumes and contractual terms
  • Analysis preparation – oversee the preparation of analysis to compare your current pricing to negotiated rates and market trends
  • Implementation – discuss the savings available with you, make recommendations, create an implementation plan and implement
  • Management – deal with the after sales, billing and customer service queries that inevitably arise following change
  • Monitoring – review the market, renew contracts and ensure that savings implemented are not eroded.

Charges

Unlike the majority of our competitors, Purchase Direct does not charge a percentage of implemented savings. Instead, we work for fixed monthly fees negotiated with you and based on the work we do. Typically, customers save from five to twenty times the fees paid to Purchase Direct, which might be one of the reasons we get so many recommendations.

Saving guarantee

All new customers to Purchase Direct are given a guarantee that Purchase Direct will identify savings in their business overheads that are at least three times greater than their fees paid. If the saving guarantee is not met, then fees are refunded.
